Supporting Animal Health in Northern Ontario
The Northern Spay Neuter Program is a registered Canadian charity dedicated to improving the health and welfare of cats and dogs living in remote and underserved communities across Northern Ontario. Through accessible spay and neuter clinics, community partnerships, and volunteer support, we help reduce animal overpopulation while promoting responsible pet care.
Every clinic provides an opportunity for families to access essential veterinary services that may otherwise be unavailable due to distance or limited resources. By working alongside local communities, veterinary professionals, and dedicated volunteers, we create sustainable solutions that benefit both animals and the people who care for them.

Help make a Difference!
All individuals associated with the Northern Spay Neuter Program are volunteers. All money raised goes towards the cost of offering clinics of for the purchase of our own medical equipment. Clinic costs usually include the cost of all medicines and medical supplies, travel (often chartering a plane is required), as well as accommodations and food.
